Small blue beetle amulet. The dung beetle was one of the most symbolic animals in the Egyptian culture. The same way the beetle pushed the dung ball, Khepri, the god of the morning's sun with the appearence of a beetle, lifted the sun in the skyline. Just like the sun dies every night in order to rebirth in the morning, the beetle was considered as a symbol ofe regeneration and strenght.
